Emergency Response Information Portalpdf

ERIPERIP addresses critical preparedness needs through integrated online planning, training and access to tactical response information. Planners are able to develop better plans in less time, train their staff with detailed e-learning courses and provide first responders secure access to tactical response data through a comprehensive site mapping system.

ERIP is a fully customizable and scalable, web-based preparedness solution.  ERIP is the first and only system that provides integrated planning, training, and site mapping solutions.

Planning

ERIP contains a server-based plan development module that enables emergency planners to develop better all-hazards emergency plans in less time. ERIP’s intuitive planning process creates plans that meet a desired and consistent format across a large range of users. This is accomplished by integrating site-specific information into established best practice emergency plan templates. Once developed online, plans are dynamically generated into PDF format so they may be printed and saved on local hard drives. Plan updates are tracked and revisions to the best practice template are easily disseminated to all users.

Training and Emergency Preparedness

Training personnel on roles and responsibilities is one of the most overlooked areas in site level emergency planning. The ERIP Academy provides on-demand, detailed training to all personnel. Training modules are provided to educate stakeholders and facility leaders in emergency response and management policies. To ensure consistency, the interactive training programs follow the guidelines of best practice templates.

Tactical Response Information & Site Mapping

Providing first responders access to critical site information, such as floor plans and utility shutoffs is facilitated through ERIP’s Critical Information Portal. Facility planners are able to upload facility schematics, photographs and rosters into the portal. Public safety agencies are provided special “read-only” accounts so this critical information is available when it is needed most
