An untested and untrained plan is little more than theory. SafePlans can develop and facilitate instructor led training seminars and offer tabletop exercises to ensure your emergency preparedness program accurately accounts area hazards and resources.

SafePlans uses an Instructional Systems Design (ISD) approach for designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating a training and exercise program. ISD provides a set of guidelines that will help package technical knowledge in a form that makes learning transferable to on-the job performance. In the design of instructional products, a systematic process is essential for producing relevant and comprehensive training program and learning materials.

Drills & Exercises

SafePlans can develop, facilitate and critique drills and table exercises that are specifically designed to test existing plans and staff. A formal critique of the drill or exercise is incorporated into an After Action Report that outlines what went well, challenges and impediments. If deficiencies are discovered in plans or training developed by SafePlans, we will correct the problem at no charge.

Academy

Training personnel on roles and responsibilities is one of the most overlooked areas in site level emergency planning. The ERIP Academy is a fully customizable and interactive E-Learning solution. The Academy includes a build-in learning management system which tracks course completion and automatically generates usage reports and certificates.
